Orthodontic consultation and treatment process at Ysmiles

Step 1: Clinical examination and orthodontic records

Your dentist will perform a general examination and assessment of your oral health. During your first visit, you will need to undergo a number of tests, including X-rays, photographs, impressions of your jaw, and in some cases, video or 3D scans of your face to create a medical history.

Step 2: Consultation on detailed treatment plan

After analyzing and evaluating bone and tooth indicators based on the collected data, the doctor will give a specific diagnosis and treatment method (including implementation technique, time and estimated cost). People under 18 years old or not yet capable of deciding on their own treatment plan must have a guardian accompany them to this session.

Step 3: Proceed with orthodontic treatment as planned

The doctor will attach braces or place elastics depending on each specific case. After that, you will have regular check-ups every 2-4 weeks until the orthodontic process is complete.

Step 4: Complete the closing documents
