• Do not use soap or dry the tooth: Soaps and drying can damage the root surface and reduce the chances of successful reimplantation.
• Do not store the tooth in plain water: Plain water can cause the cells on the root surface to swell and burst.
• For baby teeth: Do not reinsert a baby tooth, as it can damage the permanent tooth growing underneath.
• By following these steps, you can significantly increase the chances of saving a knocked-out tooth.
